Bloomsbury!

We had a GREAT time at Bloomsbury! A special thank you to all the parents that attended and shared their day with us. It was a busy day! The teachers weren't the only exhausted ones at the end of the day!

Small Group Fun

We practiced predicting in small groups! We had to predict if we thought we thought the object would move when we blew on it. We found out that with more force and less weight, objects were able to move! We also practiced our sharing skills while strengthening our fine motor skills by breaking out some good ol' play dough! We LOVED it!

Observing and Catching Insects

Since our new study is insects, we decided to simply observe some toy insects. After our observations, we practiced how we could catch insects by not causing harm to them or to ourselves since some insects will defend (new vocab word we learned) themselves when they believe they are in danger. We got to use some new tools and practice our catching skills. We, sadly, haven't been able to go outside and catch any real insects due to weather.

Sign Language!

We love learning ASL! We are becoming very proficient and are experts when signing if we would or would not like to have snack! Some of the words we  have learned include: please, no, yes, thank you, play, stop, help, all done, book, and friend.
